Man Appreciation Post.

As it is the start of London Collections: Men (and just for a little Friday treat) this post is dedicated to 5 guys who are pleasing me at the moment.

Justin Hayward-Young

Always fancied him ever since I saw him live when he was doing his solo work as ‘Jay Jay Pistolet.’ His sultry voice in the latest track from The Vaccines, ‘Dream Lover’ is just too much.

Jamie Campbell-Bower

You might recognise him as THAT Burberry model with the nose ring. He’s also been in Harry Potter and is going out with Lily Collins – #cataloguecouple. In my opinion Jamie nails the effortless, kind-of-dirty-looking-but-that’s-okay style.

Yannis Philippakis

Aside from his pretty amusing appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and bold fashion choices, most importantly, Yannis is amazing at what he does. Lead by him, Foals have created some of the most influential and innovative music of recent years. He looks most comfortable when he’s behind his guitar and he always makes fun of himself and other hipsters which I really enjoy.

Kieran Shudall

If Circa Waves’ incredible debut release ‘Young Chasers’ doesn’t draw you in, Kieran’s sleepy blue eyes definitely will.

Van McCann

Anyone who knows me will know the strange and powerful effect this guy has on me. Catfish and The Bottlemen are firmly on my list of best bands of 2015 as well as best social media-ers. Their Instagram posts are hilarious and often feature Van giggling in the background. As well as this, Catfish have made a wildly popular first album that when listened to makes you want to sack in your job and join the band. Although he is utterly humble, Van has that undefinable frontman-ness that makes knees weak in his presence.

NB: Calvin Harris would 100% be on this list if he hadn’t just started dating the most bland woman going.
